The game UI includes Index and Rewards menus. Check them after meaningful unlocks so progress is not left unclaimed.

When to prioritize it

Watch this stage of the factory during a normal production cycle. If materials are accumulating before it or the stage is idle because it lacks capacity, it is a real bottleneck. If nothing is waiting, preserve your cash and inspect the next stage.

Return to the full priority list, check the stages on either side, and use the batch planner when your machine shows a recipe ratio.
